Your First Visit

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

Some of our patients come into our office in discomfort and if they do, our first goal is to get them relief as soon as possible. We also have many patients start care not because of pain, but because they want to improve their health.

When you enter our office for your initial visit you will receive a warm smile and hand shake from our front desk CA.  After your initial greeting, we will have you fill out some paperwork and we will get a copy of your insurance card if applicable. To save you time during your first visit, we ask that you print off the initial paperwork we provide on this website.

Once you have completed your paperwork, you will watch a brief video introducing you to the purpose and goals of our office as a Creating Wellness Center.  Shortly following the video, one of our Chiropractic Assistants will sit down with you and ask you a few questions about your history and what brought you to our office.

To give the doctors a better picture of what is happening with your nervous system, one of our CAs will complete a computerized full spinal scan to detect areas of nerve disturbance.  An objective exam by the doctor will follow and x-rays may be taken at the doctor's discretion.

At the conclusion of your initial visit, one of the front desk CA's will help you set up your next appointment, which will be a report of findings.

New patients can expect to reserve at least one hour of their time for the first visit.

Dr. Chad and Dr. Marty Asks some important questions of interest to Onalaska residents - Chiropractor Onalaska Dr. Chad and Dr. Marty Asks...

What is the purpose of pain?
Pain prompts many Onalaska folks to begin chiropractic care. But pain isn't the problem! Pain is just how your body alerts you that a limit has been reached (or exceeded), that something isn't working right and that some type of change is needed. As a chiropractor, my job is finding the underlying cause and recommending the changes needed to bring your body back into balance.
What happens if you stop chiropractic care when you feel better?
Many Onalaska folks recognize that this predisposes you to a relapse. Chiropractors know that muscles and ligaments supporting the spine don't fully heal until after symptoms subside.
